DAY 1Reward ChallengeThe two tribes, no doubt the highest average age in history, line up on the island, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the brand new host, Gordon Ramsay, on the island.Gordon Ramsay begins with a speech.Gordon: Welcome everyone to the ground breaking 41st season of Survivor! One more thing... I'm not the host you stupid wankers! Please welcome the host of Survivor for the 41st time, the legendary Jeff Probst!
Jeff: As Gordon was saying, welcome everyone to Survivor Togo!!! We have put you all here in the lands of West Africa for another season of blindsides, backstabs, and at the end of the day, one of you will earn the title of Sole Survivor and the 1 million dollar grand prize, while the rest of you will one by one be voted off the island. Before we get things started I would like to announce that we have a new record, of oldest person to ever play Survivor, 85 year old Bettye Davis, beating the record previously held by the late great Rudy Boesch by ten years! Now, just because many of you will not be walking away with the money, who says we can't have an amazing journey on the way, and that journey starts right now! Are you ready to get to your first reward challenge?
(YES!)
Jeff: For your first challenge, you will gather everything you can off of this boat and onto your raft until there is none left, from there you will head out to the beach where you will find your camp. Good luck.
Survivors ready! Go!
Immediately it becomes clear that Laurence is doing the majority of the work for Zulu, while the Himba tribe seems to fall short as Bettye isn't able to keep up and sits in the raft organizing the items. By the time the challenge ends we can see that Harold is doing incredibly for his age and everyone seems to want to work with him. We'll see what happens when we get to the island however...

Day 1
Zulu Tribe
Immediately the entire tribe decides to try to start a fire and build a shelter. During the wood gathering, Harold, Laurence, David, and Jerry form an alliance because they were the four who contributed the most during the marooning, while on the other side there seems to be a loose bond between Debra. Kimberly, Christopher, and Paula, with Dorothy and Patricia being on the outs immediately. During the shleter building process, true to his marooning performance Harold was doing the greatest amount of work calling the shots, while most of the others followed along working on the fire and the shelter, although Jerry and Laurence slip off and consider creating a target on their ally, Harold, for almost being too big of a help, which they see could be dangerous in the future, but they quickly decide against it after David consults with them. Patricia paints a target on her back by accidentally smothering the fire with still live branches, causing the rest of the tribe to be rather unfavourable towards her, although they manage to get their fire working again by nighttime.
Himba Tribe
Contrary to Zulu where multiple alliances have been created, on Himba the tribe seems to have a consensus on either voting out Bettye or Homer come tribal council, with the two being the youngest and the oldest respectively. Harold seems to redeem himself slightly though, once he single handedly catches four fish for the tribe, which has unified the tribe around Bettye. Before nighttime there seems to be the beginning of an alliance as Ava and Neil bond and discuss who could be valuable to them in the future, where they settled on Homer, James, and Johanna.
DAY 2
Zulu Tribe
Day 2 continues to see relationship building as we see the mens alliance of David, Laurence, Harold, and Jerry set their sights on Christopher, for being the lone male not in their alliance not aware that Christopher was in a different alliance, while the alliance between Debra, Kimberly, Christopher, and Paula want to blindside Dorothy, as her weak legs have served as a deficit to the tribe. Harold and David decides to go to Christopher to join the mens alliance, but Christopher declines as he says he wants to take a different approach to the game. Christopher then tells his alliance about the mens alliance, which slowly shifts the attention from Dorothy to one of the other men. In the meantime, Laurence and Jerry go idol hunting, but nothing comes of it.
Hindi Tribe
The alliances are also starting to form on the Hindi tribe as Ava and Neil are able to successfully recruit Homer, James, and Johanna, although Johanna is apprehensive about joining such a big alliance this early. Johanna talks to the rest of the tribe about who they are considering voting, and Susan and Kenneth bring up James's name, as he seems to be the most socially awkward and being too observant of everything. Johanna then decides to finally commit to the Ava and Neil alliance, as she would rather vote with the majority instead of voting against one of her potential alliancemates. Bettye continues to dig a hole for herself by sleeping and complaining about the hot weather for most of the day.

Day 3
Immunity Challenge
Challenge:
Paddle Battle
"Using their canoes, the tribes would paddle out to buoys in the lake to retrieve a torch hung from each buoy. Racing back to shore, four members would run to the top of the hill and begin hauling up the canoe with a rope. Four other tribe members would rotate logs underneath the canoe, allowing it to roll up the hill, much like the technique the Mayans used to move large items. Once the canoe passed a finish line, each tribe's remaining members would run to the top of the hill with the torch and light the victory cauldron. First tribe to light the cauldron wins Immunity."
The Zulu tribe decides to Harold, Laurence, Christopher and Debra run to the top of the hill to haul the canoe up while Himba chooses Ava, Neil, Homer, and James. The start of the challenge sees Zulu get a slight advantage due to Bettye on Himba slowing people down, however once Himba gets to the hill section of the challenge Himba is able to narrowly overcome the mens alliance of Zulu to win the challenge and avoid tribal council.

Day 3
Zulu Tribe
The mens alliance tries to blame Dorothy and Paula, which send the other alliance into uproar, which leaves them now wanting to vote out one of the mens alliance members. Dorothy seems to be torn between the two, listening to both alliances sides of the story. Eventually Dorothy pitches to the mens alliance that she would vote with them if they voted Paula instead of her. Zulu comes into tribal council 4-4, with Dorothy and Patricia being the swing votes.
Himba Tribe
The tribe spends most of the rest of the day celebrating, which causes some tension between Neil and Kenneth, with Neil feeling like Kenneth was going too over the top and crazy to the point of making questionable remarks. Ava and Neil gather their alliance (which Ava and Neil graciously dubs their "Cronies"), and tries to convince them to throw the next immunity challenge so they could send Kenneth home. Admist the chaos, the tribe seems to almost take turns idol hunting, although similar to Zulu no one finds any success.

Day 3
Tribal Council
Jeff: Everyone please grab your torches behind you and dip it into the fire, because in this game fire represents your life, and once your fire`s gone, so are you.
Jeff asks the tribe some questions before it is time to vote. He asks Harold about any possible alliances, Patricia on who could possibly be safe, and Christopher one if he thinks the vote is decided tonight.
Jeff: It`s time to vote!
(The tribe votes)
Jeff: Once the votes are read the decision is final, the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I`ll read the votes.

Day 4
Zulu Tribe
The aftermath of the first tribal council sees the now less powerful alliance of Christopher, Debra, and Kimberly fight with the mens alliance and Dorothy and Patricia. After the fight the mens alliance become increasingly paranoid that Dorothy and Patricia will flip back towards the other alliance, so they all go idol hunting, where Laurence finds the hidden immunity idol, but doesn`t tell anyone else on his tribe. Meanwhile, Dorothy and Patricia initially wanted to stick with the mens alliance, but since the mens aliiance has started to isolate the two they seem to be back in the middle for the time being. Harold continues to be the main provider for the tribe, catching the majority of the seafood for the tribe.
Himba Tribe
Himba is much of the same again, Bettye just hanging around while Ava and Neil`s cronies trying to rally even more members against Kenneth, which they seem to get Susan on board, which would leave the numbers 6-4. Kenneth also realizes that he is on the chopping block and tries to rally votes against Bettye, the other likely target, but doesn`t seem to get much success.

Day 5
Zulu Tribe
Laurence decides to still keep his hidden immunity idol a secret, as even though he trusts his alliance, he still doesn't want to run the risk of having his alliance possibly flip on them. Because of this secret information, the rest of the mens alliance spends the majority of the day idol hunting, although there is no idol currently hidden. On the other side, Christopher, Debra, and Kimberly, try to help out the tribe as best they can, trying to win over Dorothy and Patricia's respective votes, which seems to work as the two seems to spend the night favouring Chris, Debra, and Kimberly.
Himba Tribe
Despite Ava and Neil's cronies trying to plead with everyone to take out Kenneth, Bettye paints an even bigger target on her back by drinking all of the tribe's water supply, which obviously did not go down well with everyone else. By the end of the day Ava and Neil seem to give up trying to rally against Kenneth, as the vote against Bettye is so obvious that they don't want to risk overpushing the idea of blindsiding Kenneth.
Also, Homer sings Gangnam Style while riding a camel.

Day 6
Immunity Challenge
Getting Tanked
"One castaway would stand at the top of a tower and pour water down five gutters held by five castaways. The water would fill a barrel, which would release a net of puzzle pieces when full. The remaining castaways would assemble the puzzle. The first tribe to assemble their puzzle would win." ~ @survivorwiki
One of the players must sit out for Himba, and unsurprisingly they choose Bettye, which proved to be a benefit for them as they get a decent lead ahead over Zulu. Chistopher, Debra, and Kimberly manage to make up some time on the puzzle for Zulu, but eventually a major mistake from Zulu leads to Himba finishing the puzzle and winning the challenge.

Day 6
Zulu Tribe
The mens alliance tries to persuade Dorothy and Patricia to vote out Christopher, and while Patricia seems ok with it, Dorothy still wants to side with Chris, Debra, and Kimberly into voting out Harold. Patricia tells the mens alliance Dorothy`s plans to take out Harold, leading the mens allliance torn between voting out Chris or voting out Dorothy. Although if Patricia still stick with Chris, Debra and Kimberly then Harold would go home, leading Laurence to consider playing his idol on Harold, which no one else knows about.
Himba Tribe
Nothing much changes on the Himba tribe, with the obvious vote if they lose immunity being Bettye.

Day 6
Tribal Council
The castaways all vote.
Jeff: If anyone has a hidden imunity idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.
...
Laurence: Jeff!
Laurence: I`d hate to watch and see my alliance fall apart. I`m playing this for Harold.
Jeff: This is a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Harold will not count. I`ll read the votes.
