Do you think AEW will have a long, bright future? Or will it just become another stepping stone for WWE? Your thoughts.

Haven’t watched it yet but reading the feedback it seems to be like a really good thing for the wrestling community as a whole. Personally I can’t wait for WWE to actually have some competition since recently it’s been not as good as it use to be

I too haven't seen AEW but from what it looks like, it may actually become some competition for WWE. And last time WWE had competition we got the Attitude Era.
But I'm not saying bring the Attitude Era back. That just wouldn't work these days. But WWE might (hopefully) think of something amazing and there will be content as amazing as the Attitude Era.
If AEW starts getting more and more talent and publicity, I'm definite that a Monday Night Wars 2.0 would happen.

I haven't watched Fyter Fest yet but I've seen Double Or Nothing and All In and I could definitely day that if they market their product correctly, they could become serious competition for WWE. Especially with WWE workers getting released and/or quitting every other week it feels like.

I was at the PPV and the crowd ate everything up. I don't see the Kahn family letting it die, look at the Jaguars.

It's too soon to tell... once AEW airs on TNT, we will see what happens

I have honestly given them a very fair shake up to this point. I saw a lot of DON and I watched Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen live. I saw stuff I liked but I saw plenty more that I just couldn't get into. The backstage stuff is so forced and corny imo and the promos outside of Jericho are no good. Too many goofball gimmicks and the claim they wanna be a sports based alternative to the WWE won't help them I think. I will probably watch the TV when it debuts but I just don't see the appeal personally and I'm one of the target demos since I'm in my 20's. This whole comparison to the Monday Night Wars is silly and laughable tbh. This isn't the next WCW by a longshot I see this as being a more well know PWG that runs weekly TV. I know some will disagree but this is just one man's opinion. I support anyone's right to enjoy the wrestling they want I just have a different take on AEW is all.
