3rd January 2011 - Monday Night RAW
Cole: Hello and welcome to the first edition of Monday Night RAW of the year! I'm Michael Cole and my broadcast partner tonight is Hall of Famer, Jerry 'The King' Lawler
Lawler: Tonight, we have a #1 Contender's match to determine who will challenge the Miz for his WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. I can't wait!
Cole: Of course, all three men are hungry for the title, so this match will be contained in a steel cage!
Lawler: We have the Great White Celtic Conqueror, Sheamus, looking to become multi-time World Champion. We also have Wade Barrett looking for his first reign.
Cole: But none are hungrier than Randy Orton, King. Orton was robbed of the WWE title after the Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Survivor Series.
Lawler: I'm pumped!
---LATER---
Main Event - Orton vs Sheamus vs Barrett #1 Contender's Match - Steel Cage

10th January 2011 - Monday Night RAW
Before the show...
The Miz walks into Stephanie McMahon's office.
Miz: What the hell? Why am I defending my title against Orton again at Royal Rumble?
Steph ignores the Miz and continues doing whatever work she's doing on her laptop.
Miz: Answer me, Steph!
Stephanie finally pays some attention to Miz.
Steph: Miz, the answer to your question is simple. He won his match last week, he gets title shot. It's as simple as that.
Miz: But there's no way Orton deserves this title shot! I beat him at Survivor Series, he got a rematch at TLC, and he lost again! Come on, surely someone else deserves a title shot right about now.
Steph: Well you're just going to have to suck it up, you big baby. Orton's your opponent, there's no way around it.
Miz: If Orton's my opponent, I just won't show up to my match! There's no way he deserves my title!
Steph: Tell me, who is more worthy of the title than Orton, besides from yourself?
Miz: ...I'll find someone.
Steph: You'll find someone? Okay! Find someone more worthy! And you know what? If you can find that person within the next hour, I'll book them against Randy Orton tonight for the #1 Contender's spot for tonight's main event! Now get out before I change my mind!
Miz: Thank you so much, Steph. I'll make it up to you, I promise.
The Miz rushes out of Steph's office.
-------
Cole: Hello and welcome to Monday Night Raw, I'm Michael Cole and beside me, as always, is Jerry 'The King' Lawler, and King, the Miz isn't keen on facing Orton again at the Rumble.
Lawler: He isn't. In fact, he's trying to find a someone to challenge Orton for the #1 Contendership, as we speak! And he's only got one hour to do just that!
Cole: And you would have to be smart about this as well. If you did find someone to beat Orton, you wouldn't want your chosen superstar to be the one to end your title reign.
Lawler: Other big news, Wade Barrett was forced to leave the Nexus last week after failing to win his #1 Contender's Match, which has also resulted in the recent departures of Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater!
Cole: I'm going to have to stop you right there, partner, I have word that the Miz has found a worthy opponent!
-----
We cut to Steph's office, where the Miz in a German outfit and a big moustache walks in.
Miz in a German disguise: Hallo, this is Steff's office, ja?
Steph: Miz, what the hell are you wearing?
Miz in a German disguise: I am no Miz! I am his long lost Deutschland cousin, Da Mischt.
Steph: Miz, are you taking this seriously
Da Mischt: Ja! I am serious contender! I want face Orton! I want #1 contender for title
Steph: How stupid do you think I am? Security!
Bradshaw and Faarooq, the APA, suddenly appear behind Da Mischt.
Da Mischt: Okay, okay, I leave.
Da Mischt quickly runs out of the office before the APA can beat him up.
-----
Cole: Wow, King, what did we just witness.
Lawler: I'm shocked. Da Mischt? Seriously?
Cole: Well, now we have the first match of tonight after that... interesting segment.
---LATER---
The Miz is walking backstage, finding a suitable opponent, when he bumps into John Cena.
Miz: John! Nice to see you!
John Cena: Oh hi.
Miz: Say, would you like a shot at this title *points at championship belt around his waist*
John Cena: I thought Randy Orton was #1 Contender?
Miz: Ah, if you beat Randy tonight, you become #1 contender!
John Cena: I'm sorry, I can't do that to Randy. He's earnt his spot, and I don't want to take that away from him. Plus, I've already got a match tonight against Husky Harris. Maybe you can ask that guy over there.
The Miz turns around to where Cena was pointing, to find Santino Marella.
Miz: Oh no way...
But Cena was already gone. So the Miz reluctantly talked to Santino.
Miz: Hey Santino.
Santino: Ah, Meez. Champion of the WWE. Hater of the Orton. How may I help?
Miz: Would you be willing to fight Randy Orton tonight for the #1 Contendership for my title?
Santino: Ah! I would love to! Tell me where to sign up.
Miz: Follow me to Steph's office. She'll confirm tonight's match.
-----
Lawler: I can't believe it! Tonight's main event is Santino Marella vs Randy Orton for the #1 Contendership for the WWE title!
---LATER---
Main Event - Randy Orton vs Santino Marella #1 Contender's Match
-Santino enters the ring with The Miz by his side
-The match begins, Orton controls most of the match
-Santino gets momentum on his side for a brief moment, before Orton gets the upper hand
-Orton hits the RKO, Miz drags ref out of ring
-Miz hits Skull Crushing Finale on Orton. A disgraced Santino then hits Miz with the Cobra.
-Santino drags Orton on top of him. Ref wakes up, counts to 3.
-Orton retains #1 Contendership much to the disappointment of The Miz
13th January 2011 - WWE Superstars
Match 2 - Big Show vs Vance Archer
Highlights:
- Vance Archer gets some early offense
- Big Show reverses a DDT into a back body drop
- Big Show gets offense for rest of match
- Big Show finishes Archer off with a KO Punch; match over in 3 minutes
Post-Match:
Lawler: What's this, Big Show's asking for a mic?
Cole: What's he going to say?
Big Show: Three minutes.
The crowd cheers.
Big Show: Three minutes is all it took for me... *points at Vance Archer on the ground* ...to beat this man. If that's not a message to the entire locker room, I'm not sure what is.
Show drops the mic as his theme plays throughout the arena

17th January 2011 - Monday Night Raw
Cole: Hi, welcome to Monday Night Raw. I'm Michael Cole and beside me is former pro wrestler Jerry 'The King' Lawler.
Lawler: Listen to the crowd, Cole! They're excited to be here tonight! And so they should!
Cole: Yes indeed, King. Tonight's main event, we see the Big Show taking on John Cena. And King, he had a very impressive showing last week on Superstars.
Lawler: You're not wrong! Not many people can say they beat Vance Archer in three minutes! But I feel the Big Show has bitten off more than he can chew tonight, Cole.
Cole: Well I guess we'll find out in tonight's main event...
"I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD THEY TALK TO ME, THEY UNDERSTAND THEY TALK TO ME"
Cole: Here comes our current #1 contender, King!
Lawler: What's he got to say? Surely he'll talk about what happened last week
*Orton grabs mic*
Randy Orton: Well, well, well. It seems that SOMEONE'S a little angry that I'm #1 contender for their title. And to try and stop me, they send out Santino?
*pause*
Orton: Miz, I know you can hear me backstage, but you're just gonna have to learn to accept that I'm facing you for the title at the Rumble. Deal with it.
AWWWWWEEEEESOOOOOMMMMEEEE
The Miz walks on-stage with Wade Barrett by his side.
Miz: You know what Orton, this belt around my waist proves that I don't have to 'deal with' anything.
Crowd: Booooo.
Miz: I've got someone beside me who I think has earnt this title shot. He was kicked out of the Nexus - where he was once leader. He's had a tough couple of weeks, but now it's his time to shine. Orton, do you accept Barrett's challenge for the #1 contendership of the title?
*pause*
Orton: Right here. Right now. Bring it on.
Cole: Oh my! It looks like we're opening the night with Orton vs Barrett in a #1 contender's match!
Barrett runs to the ring, where the bell is rung immediately.
Match 1 - Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett #1 Contender's Match
Highlights:
- Wade Barrett looked dominant at the beginning
- Orton fights his way back into the match
- Also, the Miz was in guest commentary. Probably shoulda mentioned that.
- Orton gains control, before momentum quickly turns to Barrett
- Orton reverses a Wasteland into a RKO for the win
Post-Match:
Orton grabs a mic.
Orton: Miz, you can keep throwing your so-called contenders at me, but I will beat them one-by-one. I'm getting that title at Royal Rumble. No matter what happens.
Randy stares at the guest commentator, who makes a smug reply.
Miz: Let me throw one more contender at you...
Orton: Who?
But the Miz just walks away, leaving Orton in the ring.
---LATER---
Cole: Here we go, Cole, our main event!
Lawler: The battle of the titans! Let's go!
Main Event - John Cena vs Big Show
Highlights:
- The match starts off evenly
- Big Show easily gets the upper hand, thanks to his size
- Cena moves out of the way before Show could chop him across the chest, allowing him to hit a DDT
- Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle
- Big Show gets the upper hand again, but not for long as John Cena executes another perfect reversal
- John Cena attempts to lift Show for an AA, but is too worn out and Show being way too heavy, allowing Big Show to escape and hit a KO Punch for the win.
Post-Match:
Cole: Wow! Big Show with the win in an amazing match!
Lawler: Wait, the Miz is walking on stage!
Miz: Wow. What. A. Match. It was... AWWEEESSOOOOMMMEEE!!!
Lawler: Ugh. He makes me cringe sometimes.
Miz: But I was wondering Show, we're former friends, and I'm doing you a favour here. If you aren't busy next week, I was wondering if you'd take on Randy Orton for the #1 contendership for his title!
Cole: Whoa! What is the Miz thinking?
Lawler: I know! If Show does win next week, it would be ridiculously hard to beat him at the Rumble!
Show: I accept!
Cole: Oh my! Show vs Orton, next week, for #1 contendership for the title!
20th January 2011 - WWE Superstars
Match 2 - Vance Archer defeats Ted DiBiase Jr
Highlights:
-Vance Archer was looking for redemption after last week's humiliating loss, and he started off strong
-Ted DiBiase Jr got some offense in
- Vance Archer fought back and dominated DiBiase Jr. He wins via KO.
(Happy now, leedles?)

24th January 2011 - Monday Night Raw
Cole: Hello and welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw! I'm Michael Cole, alongside Jerry 'The King' Lawler, and King, things are getting heated tonight.
Lawler: Yep! The Royal Rumble is less than a week away, and tonight, we see a few superstars scrambling for the final spots in the highly coveted match. But, boy, what a main event we have!
Cole: You got that right, King. Big Show vs Randy Orton for the #1 Contendership of the title. Both men have strong momentum heading into this match.
Lawler: The Miz has been throwing #1 contendership matches at Orton, hoping that he'd face someone else, but Orton always came up victorious! Of course, now he has the tough challenge of taking on the Show...
Cole: Remember, King, Show just beat John Cena last week! This man's on a roll!
Lawler: Oh boy am I excited...
--LATER--
We find Randy Orton preparing for his match backstage, when he is approached by Big Show.
Big Show: Hey.
Show is met with a death stare from the Viper.
Big Show: Look, man, I don't mean no trouble. I just want let you know I have clean intentions for tonight.
Randy Orton continues his death stare.
Big Show: Look, I'm just about as sick of the Miz as you are. I know that we both want to take that title off the Miz, so tonight, let's agree to a fair match. Shake hands?
Orton looks at Show's giant hand, and shakes it.
Orton: I look forward to facing you in the ring tonight.
Show: Me too.
Cole: Well it looks like it will be a fair contest between Show and Orton tonight.
Lawler: I hope so! This match is going to be amazing!
Cole: That's later tonight, King. Right now, we see the current WWE champion taking on Zack Ryder!
Match 2 - The Miz vs Zack Ryder
Highlights:
- Zack Ryder started the match with some offense, but it was quickly reversed.
- This match was mainly a squash match so Miz had some momentum heading into Royal Rumble.
- Miz got the easy pinfall
--LATER-ER--
Main Event - Randy Orton vs Big Show #1 Contender's Match
Highlights:
- The fans were hyped to see this contest to find out who would face the Miz at Royal Rumble
- The Miz is once again on guest commentary
- Orton and Show exchange body blows at start of match
- Show gains control, throwing Orton into the ropes and back into a big boot
- Orton ducks a KO Punch from a Big Show, and performs a leg sweep
- Orton clothesline Show (whilst he is leaving on the ropes) and they both topple to the outside.
- Show is thrown into the barricade
- Orton is thrown into the apron
- Show stands on apron but gets hit by Orton, leaving him groggy
- Orton enters the ring while Show is on the other side of the ropes; perfect opportunity to set up a rope hung DDT
- Orton hits the DDT from the 2nd rope and goes to the corner to set up a punt kick
- Before Orton can hit the punt kick, Miz pulls him out of the ring but gets disqualified for it (Miz thought he could get away with it...)
- Orton wins via disqualification, much to the dissatisfaction of Big Show and Randy Orton, who wanted a clean match.
- Randy Orton vs The Miz for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble is confirmed.

30th January 2011 - Royal Rumble
Cole: Hello and welcome to the 2011 Royal Rumble, the biggest Royal Rumble in history!
Lawler: That's right Cole, 40 men will enter the match, which is of course 10 more than the traditional Rumble match.
Cole: Of course, all three men are hungry for the title, so this match will be contained in a steel cage!
Lawler: Not only that, but we have Dolph Ziggler taking on Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, and also, what I'm most excited about, a fatal-4-way for the Divas Championship!
Cole: Don't forget about the highly anticipated rematch for the WWE Championship between The Miz and Randy Orton.
Lawler: Of course! Miz has been trying to get Randy Orton off of his back for weeks, but Orton is determined! He wants that title!
Cole: Let's get started, King.
---LATER---
Match 2 - Orton vs Miz (w/ Alex Riley) WWE Championship
Highlights:
- Orton gains the upper hand early
- Riley distracts ref, allowing Miz to low blow Orton and gain momentum
- Miz sets up Skull Crushing Finale, Orton escapes, attempts RKO, Miz escapes
- Even contest throughout, action doesn't leave the ring
- Orton starts to gain momentum, Miz throws ref at Orton as last resort. Orton gets taken out by ref.
- Show enters through the crowd, KO Punches Alex Riley, chokeslams Miz.
- Orton and ref wake up. Orton goes for the pin, clueless as to what happened.
- Ref counts 1-2-3, Orton becomes new WWE champ.
---LATER-ER---
Main Event - 40-man Royal Rumble
Highlights:
- Exactly like 2011 Royal Rumble, except pre-match attack on Punk. The Corre and Nexus can show their little feud in the actual match.
- Also, Miz replaces Orton in the match. Doesn't make sense that the champion would be in the rumble. Therefore, Miz eliminates Cena, legally. This establishes Miz as a solid contender.
- Alberto Del Rio wins by eliminating Santino Marella last.
NOTE: Wow! I actually posted something for the first time in a while!
